Slampumper (Slurry)

Special pumps designed and studied fro the conveying into filter-press of high-density, very abrasive muds.
The series PSOM is a single-block pump born to satisfy the needs of feeding filter-presses with small dimensions.
All the pumps series PSO are not self-priming and therefore their functioning must happen under the head of the liquid.
Horizontal axis with bearings in stuffing box designed as to allow the front part of the shaft to work overhang without mountings sumberged into the liquid. Bodies are in cast-iron, divided in two halves with protective lining made in our special antiwear moulded rubber (composed of interchangeable shells adjustable from outside). The impeller is anticlogging, open type composed of a steel core lined with special antiabrasive compound. The seal group is composed of a double mechanical seal drained with water.
For the pumps PSO45-50-55 the coupling is direct thru elastic joint in two pieces while for the pump PSO75 the coupling happens thru trapezoidal belts and pulleys.

PUMPS series PGM
Special pumps designed and studied for the conveying of highly abrasive mixtures fron discharge pits of sawmills, workshops, factories of tiles, etc. and from tanks/pits for the working of inerts.
Vertical axis with bearings in stuffing box designed to allow the lower part of the shaft to work overhang without mountings submerged into the liquid. Bodies are in cast-iron, divided in two halves with protective lining made in our special antiwear moulded rubber (composed of interchangeable shells adjustable from outside). The impeller is anticlogging, open type composed of a steel core lined with special antiabrasive compound. It is possible the application, on specific request, of an extension between the snore piece and the lower body as to increase the maximum height of immersion of the pump as to avoid the contact between the liquid to be pumped and the lower bearing (or to keep the electrical motor outside the tank/pit).
Direct coupling thru elastic joint in two pieces. Depending on the performances requested the pump can be supplied also with coupling thru trapezoidal belts and pulleys (series PSV).
